Cision, a leading provider of PR software, has launched a free tool to analyze your draft press releases. The company has also rolled out a Brandwatch-embedded app, which is available as part of the Cision-owned Falcon.io social media marketing suite, as well as within the Cision Communications Cloud.
The Cision press release checker tracks aspects that determine whether your release will engage journalists, such as the length of the heading, quality of the copy, and use of quotes. It also suggests ways you can optimize your release to maximize coverage. The tool is available here.
Cision’s Brandwatch-embedded app takes advantage of Brandwatch’s complete social data and analytics alongside the traditional media that Cision monitors. Cision acquired Brandwatch in February in a deal worth $450 million U.S.
In addition to Brandwatch, Falcon.io and Cision Communications Cloud, Cision also offers press release distribution platform PR Newswire.
